Joseph and I go all the way from highschool. He was among those cool, popular and athletic guys that was just so nice to everyone. He was clumsy but he was a funny guy. His house used to be our tambayan. His parents were popular in the PTA (lol) and at their home, were always nice hosts, always ready to receive, take care of us. In short, hes family.
Joseph knew my secrets - even the i-cannot-believe-i-just-told-you-that-secrets haha, I used to confess everything to my girl bestfriends but I also like to go to him for some "guy" perspectives. He was my back-me-up guy and apart from it all, he was one of my best friends to date. I've got my best girlfriends along, but he was among those good guys that you can be proud of. Well, of course, I also get to do my part in bantering with him and I get to call him funny names and all - haha! I get to see him fall in love for the first time, date different girls, got my shoulders wet (from tears) from a heartbreak.
When he and his entire family migrated to the US during college, I was there at the airport, well, among his loved ones (and the least of course) to hug, get sappy and wave him goodbye.
So when I learned that he finally found the love of his life, I could not be anymore happier for him.
For finally, he found his match - a great, super sweet, smart and beautiful woman in Kristin.
The next time I saw him was when he & Tin went to Boracay for vacation back in 2011. I was so charmed when I met Kristin!
You could see that she was a strong woman behind those eyes. She got that beautiful smile and sweet laugh when she Joseph cracks a joke.
Joseph & Tin were already civilly married back then, and Tin gushed over the thought of how she always wanted to get married in the church and in Boracay as well! Two years later, Tin called and told me that her wish is about to happen.
Please enjoy and bask in their smiles, love and laughter!
